Abstract
The Mira García family moved in 1912 to Novelda, city of grapes and marble. There Teresa entered domestic service in the house of two elderly ladies of distinguished lineage. She remained there until April 1915, when she joined the Carmelite sisters. During these three years she grew in her prayer life, her love for Our Lady of Mount Carmel and devotion to the Infant Jesus of Prague.
